Julia Chantrey, featured as Amber D’Alessio in the infamous ‘Burn Book’ in the 2004 

original Mean Girls film, was a 23-year old local actor in Toronto, Canada when she

was cast in the role.

Julia Chantrey (Actress, Producer)

     Julia has spent 30 years working as an actress with Hollywood’s Oscar-winning producers  (Universal Studios, Paramount Pictures, Netflix, Hulu, CBS, NBC, ABC, The Cartoon Network), with training including LSCO Studios and The Second City.

     She is a Gemini-award recipient (Blue Murder, Best Actress in a Guest Role, 2002.)

     Julia is grateful to serve as producer of Operation Amber, a collaboration between film industry professionals, private investigators and parents driving tactical resources to the families of abducted children who do not meet the criteria for an Amber  Alert.

Julia's additional producing credits include As Far as the Road Will Take You (National Screen Institute, 2018),  Poke the Bear, (Spotify, 2024) and Dear Hunter; Letter from a Canadian on a Hollywood Film Set. (YouTube, 2024.)

     Addionally, Julia acts as a sales consultant on digital sales platforms and has collaborated on over 50 media campaigns internationally (The 6-Figure Entrepreneur, Momentum Podcast.)
